Our History
The Lapide family opened up their first family business in Brooklyn, New York in 1946, only four years following the Brooklyn Terminal Market's construction in 1942. Ever since, Lapide's has been serving not only our community but all five boroughs. Still, every September through November, we carry on the tradition of selling winemaking grapes, juices & supplies at 26 South Market Street inside of this historical market.
